NJIT IDS Student Teams Win Two Awards at NJEN Poster Competition

A student team in the Albert Dorman Honors College Interdisciplinary Design Studio (IDS) won two second-place awards–Best Pitch and People’s Choice–on Feb. 1 at the Annual New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network (NJEN) poster session at Princeton University.

Members of the Organics to Electricity Coupled Cell System (OTECCS) team include Nevedha Rajan, sophomore, biology; Asim Zaman, sophomore, civil engineering; Lindsey Oh, sophomore, mechanical engineering; and Margaret Christian, sophomore, biology.

The second NJIT team, comprised of Amira Esseghir and Mariam Selevany, presented "AutisMind, LLC: Inventing Novel Ways to Combat Cognitive Deficiencies in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)."  Other NJIT posters that were on display included work from various faculty members.
