EMBA Program Students Visit Singapore

A group of EMBA students visited Singapore for eight days as part of their International Management Experiential Courses. While in Singapore, they had meetings with officials of local Singapore companies that had expanded their operations to other parts of Asia like Starhub, a telecommunications and cable company, and Tiger Air, a discount airline company that is now a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. They also met with executives from U.S. and European multinational corporations that had operations in Singapore such as DHL (a logistics and supply chain company), CP Kelco (a food additive company), Societe Generale (an investment bank), Abbot Nutrition (nutrition), and Akamai Technologies (cybersecurity). Additionally, they visited the infrastructural facilities set up by the government to promote specific industries such as the Biopolis (biotechnology and pharma companies) and the Mediapolis (information technology, media and Entertainment industry).
